Furuno's PG1000 heading
sensor incorporates innovative electromagnetic
compass technology for highly accurate and stable
readouts of your ship's heading. These sophisticated
components are contained within a rugged, compact
case that protects against the elements at sea. Unique
design elements make the PG1000 virtually maintenance-free
and easy to install.
The PG1000 heading sensor detects terrestrial magnetism and produces
compass data that can be utilized in NMEA0183 and Furuno AD10 formats.
Typical applications include true radar echo trail and true motion, video
plotters, scanning sonars and more.

The PG1000 is supplied as an integral part of our
kit number ARP10/PG and ARP11/PG. This is a convenient,
less costly method to enable the installation and
use of these systems and required PG1000 heading
sensor. The ARP10 is a valuable accessory for the
1832, 1932MK2, 1942MK2 and FR7002 series of Radar.
The ARP11 is a valuable accessory for the 1833, 1933,
1945, 1833C, 1933C, 1943C, and 1953C NavNet Series
of Radars. Combining the ARP10 and the PG1000 in
a single kit has allowed a lower List Price.
